Here are some of the most frequently-asked questions that I receive. Take a read through to ease your mind about your trial and wedding day!

1) Do you recommend that I do a trial?

It is not mandatory to do a trial, however it is encouraged. It gives you and your artist an opportunity to get to know each other. It’s a great chance for your artist to become familiar with your vision, theme, colors and dress details. It’s also a good way for your artist to make recommendations and assess your skin/ hair type, in order for you to look your best on the big day.

2) How far in advance should I book a trial?

It’s ideal to book your trial anywhere from 2-4 months prior to your wedding day. This gives you an opportunity to adapt to the look, and make any amendments if needed.

3) How Long does a trial take?

For both hair and makeup, the allotted trial time is 3 hours. For just makeup or hair, it would be 1.5 hours. If more time is needed, there would be a fee of $30 per hour.

4) How do I make sure my wedding day is booked and secure?

After the trial, you can decide to put down a deposit of 20% of the total cost of services for the day. The remaining balance is due the day of the wedding.

5) Do you have a minimum amount of services that you will travel for?

During high season (May-October) we require a minimum of 5 services for a booking.

6) What kind of products do you use?

We like to use an assortment of pro products in our kits. We believe that there are amazing products in many lines. Some favourite brands are: MAC, Armani, Inglot, Cinema Secrets, NYX, Graftobian, Makeup Forever, Schwarzkopf, Sebastian, L’Oreal.

7) Will my Makeup last all day?

We use a variety of products and techniques to make sure your makeup lasts well into the evening. We make sure to use primers and setting sprays and powders. We also give you a touch up kit which includes your lip color.

8) What are the travel fees?

There are no fees for services within 20km of Downtown Toronto. Any distance beyond 20 km would be 70ยข per km.

9) I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup, will I still look natural on my wedding day?

Absolutely! We believe that you should look like the best version of yourself on your day. We will bring out your best features and still have your groom recognize you!

10) Are you experienced with all ethnicities?

Yes! Deanna and her team of artists have an extensive background with companies such as Mac Cosmetics, which has given them a platform to work on all skin types/tones over the years.

11) How do you keep your brushes and tools clean?

We ensure that all of our brushes and tools have been thoroughly cleaned before using them on clients. We use disposable mascara wands and sanitize brushes between clients using brush cleanser.
